And what a day it was. It was mommy shedding the tears today, not Alex. I didn't think I would feel so sad and alone as I walked away from the school without my little man....but I did. His program is through the local school district and he will attend 5 days a week for about 3 hours each day. We celebrated the successful day with a warm batch of chocolate chip cookies, Alex's favorite.

Lily starts preschool next week (also through our school district), and I know I will be a weepy mess. Alex looks adorable and like he enjoyed his first day!
Oh Christie, reading that and seeing the pictures made my stomach turn, ... I don't think I'm ready for kindergarten!!! I think I'll be a mess!!!!
By the way, Alex looks so adorable! He looks so proud and as if he's feeling so grown up, I love it!
I can't believe that it's "that" time of year already. Luckily the crazy Canadians are giving me another month before Nate goes to school...they don't start until after Labor Day. Anyways, Alex is all grown up! What a little man!
Oh he is too cute! I almost started to cry just reading your little message. I can't believe he is old enough to go to school!
