Hi, kristy glass here. I saw your comment on my blog about the necklace. My husband had it custom-made through a jeweler in Miami. (Why he didn's just walk 4 blocks to the jewelry district in Manhattan is beyond me...) I think he likes going through people he knows...
Anyway I totally STOLE The idea from a friend's necklace who got hers through shopintuition.com, here is the link.
These discs are about the size of a dime. Mine are the size of a quarter. As a result my chain is thicker too. The other unique part about my chain is that every other ball of gold is shiny. SO it's shiny, matte, shiny, matte etc. and I like that a lot. I would say my necklace is a bit BLINGYier than I originally anticipated, but it has REALLY grown on me and I love it.
